So the great headlines here is which Google appears to have listened the cries for help, carrying taken a chainsaw to the heartless $350 “equipment liberation fee” which had been lumped on tip of T-Mobile’s $200 ETF for subsidized Nexus One contracts canceled in the initial 120 days. The bad news, though, is which it still exists at all — a full of hair fashion for an attention being watched with eagle eyes by the FCC right now. The association has knocked $200 off the fee, bringing it down to $150; in alternative words, if you mangle your contract, you’ll compensate the same ETF which Verizon right away charges on the “advanced devices.” Whether which was a counsel move to let ‘em contend which they’re no some-more costly than Verizon is unclear, but let’s be honest: $350 is extreme, $550 was main road robbery. At slightest we’re going in the right direction.
