ElectricSteve writes “Scientists at Cornell University inform they can right away operate a light lamp carrying a singular milliwatt of energy to move objects and even shift the visual properties of silicon from ambiguous to pure at the nanometric scale.” As the essay says, such an enrichment “could infer really utilitarian for the destiny of micro-electromechanical (MEMS) and micro-optomechanical (MOMS) systems.” Read some-more of this story at Slashdot.
