alex_guy_CA Notes which the US Trade Representative — who has been negotiating the tip Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement but submit from the American people or Congress — is looking open submissions on how to control US unfamiliar copyright policy. This equates to which Americans can record comments with the USTR asking for ACTA to be done public. Public Knowledge explains the process: “Under the Special 301 routine the USTR seeks submit from US copyright, trademark, and obvious owners about either policies and practices in unfamiliar countries repudiate them competent IP protection. The routine has in all been used by IP holders to protest not usually about messy coercion in alternative countries, but additionally about stipulations and exceptions in their laws which have been profitable to libraries, to education, to innovation, and to the open seductiveness generally.
