As any attention researcher will discuss it you, given the dual reporters were returned from North Korea , Current.tv has been woefully overstaffed. The association simply doesn’t need which many employees to edit YouTube clips for the assembly of jobless hipster doucheballs who have depressed defunct in front of the television. And so it wasn’t wholly startling this week when TechCrunch reported on a ‘ bloodbath ‘  at the company, with 80 people being laid-off opposite all departments. Current’s COO Joanna Drake Earl (who is herself 3 apart people) insisted to Leena which the layoffs aren’t a ‘cost-cutting measure’ but rsther than a ’shift in programming strategy’. In many alternative companies, this would be classical corporate bullshit, but in Current’s box Joanna, Drake and Earl competence essentially have a point. After all, by formulating 80 latest impoverished people – impoverished people who essentially know what Current is – they’ve only doubled the aim assembly for their programming.
